Registered solemniser
Hi my name is Gloria Mc Clafferty from Glorious Ceremonies by Gloria. I’m from Donegal but currently living in Dublin. I have worked in the HSE as a Social Worker for a number of years, so working and understanding people is something I know and do well. I bring this wealth of knowledge, compassion and experience when meeting couples and families listening to their love stories and life stories.
I love spending time with family and friends and celebrating occasions, so transitioning into this lovely role of a celebrant was a natural choice. My approach is modern, light hearted and inclusive meaning I welcome people of all faiths, mixed faiths, semi faith and or no faith which is the ethos of FuturFaith who I have trained with.
I am now a fully registered solemniser and legal wedding officiant and family celebrant available for weddings, funerals, naming ceremonies, elopements and vow renewals.
I acknowledge that every love story and family dynamic differs so I will collaborate closely with you to ensure that your story is respected and told in your way. Having lived in other countries I have experience and an understanding of cultural and diverse religious values and beliefs and I will ensure that your values and beliefs are represented and that your day is an unforgettable and happy occasion.
Whether you’re having an intimate ceremony or a lavish celebration I will ensure your day is as special and as glorious as you dream it to be.

I had no idea how to throw a Naming Ceremony but Gloria made it all so easy. She was so communicative in the lead up, we were able to incorporate little quirks that were specific to our family. It felt really unique and really special, not to mention low stress. Gloria did an exceptional job and it was a day we'll never forget.

From our very first conversation, Gloria made us feel very comfortable and took the time to listen to us and learn all about our story, how we met and how we wanted the ceremony to go. She took the time to really get to know us, do her research and was so empathetic and understanding which took so much stress out of our wedding planning. She incorporated lovely details about us and made it such a beautiful, thoughtful, intimate, unique ceremony for us. Many of our guests had never attended a civil ceremony before and were very complimentary of Gloria’s style and how personal and unique she made the ceremony. My Husband and I would highly recommend Gloria to any couple.

My decision to train with FuturFaith has transformed my understanding of ministry. I had no idea how much I could do with this path until I started the course.. I'm so excited to be part of Futur+ when I graduate.
