At FuturFaith Ministry, we encourage our students and graduates to engage with their communities and clients on social media.

Sharing your journey, successes, and experiences as a legally registered solemniser or officiant is a great way to build your personal brand and grow your business.

However, we ask that you follow these guidelines to ensure that your social media presence aligns with the values and professionalism of FuturFaith Ministry.

Respectful Communication

Always maintain a tone of respect and kindness when posting on social media. Whether engaging with couples, clients, other professionals, or fellow graduates, your communication should be courteous, inclusive, and professional.

Refrain from engaging in any form of negative discourse or inappropriate language.

Representing FuturFaith Ministry

When discussing your training or work as a graduate of FuturFaith Ministry, remember that you are representing both yourself and our organisation. Please avoid making any misleading or exaggerated claims about the training or qualifications provided by FuturFaith Ministry.

If asked, we recommend using the phrase, "Graduated as a legally registered solemniser/officiant from FuturFaith Ministry."

Tagging and Sharing

We encourage you to tag FuturFaith Ministry in your social media posts related to ceremonies, events, or training experiences. Use the official handles for Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, and feel free to use hashtags like #FuturFaith or #FuturFaithGraduate to enhance visibility.

Tagging helps us engage with your posts and allows us to support and amplify your work, and will also add credibility to your posts.

Use of Badges

As part of your membership with FuturFaith Ministry, you will be asked to display a 'nominated by' badge on your website, linking back to the FuturFaith website.

If you are posting images of this badge or promoting your affiliation with us, ensure the link to our website is included in the caption or description. This helps maintain clarity and professionalism.

Privacy and Confidentiality

When sharing client stories or ceremony details, always obtain explicit permission before posting. Respect the privacy of couples, families, and other clients by not disclosing personal details or images without their consent.

If you are unsure, err on the side of caution and ask the client for written permission before sharing any photos or details.

Posting Photos and Videos

Feel free to share photos and videos of ceremonies you have conducted or participated in, but ensure that these materials are professional and respectful of the occasion.

Avoid posting blurry, poorly lit, or unprofessional images. You should also credit any photographers involved, as required, and mention if the images were provided by the couple.

Community Support

We encourage collaboration and support among FuturFaith Ministry graduates. Feel free to share each other's posts, promote fellow graduates’ services, and build a community of mutual support. Be mindful not to engage in any competitive or negative behaviour on social platforms.

Avoiding Religious Association

FuturFaith Ministry is a faith-neutral organisation. We ask that you refrain from representing our organisation as being associated with any particular faith or religious practice, even when conducting non-religious ceremonies that may feature religious elements at the couple’s request.

Feedback and Reviews

When responding to feedback or reviews, whether positive or negative, always maintain a professional tone. If unsure how to respond to certain comments, reach out to the FuturFaith team for guidance before replying publicly.

Use of FuturFaith Logos and Branding

You are welcome to use FuturFaith Ministry logos and branding materials to promote your affiliation, provided these are used in accordance with our guidelines.

Any misuse of our logos or branding (e.g., modifying the logo, misrepresenting the organisation) will be addressed, and we reserve the right to request removal of any materials that do not align with our standards.

Personal Opinions

Please make it clear when your posts reflect your personal opinions, especially on sensitive topics. Ensure your views are not presented as representing the views or policies of FuturFaith Ministry.

Compliance with Platform Rules

Ensure that your social media activities comply with the terms and conditions of the platforms you use. Stay updated on any changes to platform policies that might affect how you post and engage with content.

Questions and Guidance

If you have any questions about what is appropriate to post or share on social media, or if you are unsure about how to represent your affiliation with FuturFaith Ministry, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team for guidance.

We appreciate your enthusiasm and professionalism in representing FuturFaith Ministry online. By adhering to these guidelines, we can foster a positive, supportive community that benefits all of our students and graduates. Thank you for your cooperation!
